Stickers and labels are both adhesive-backed printed products — but they are designed for very different purposes. The simplest way to think about it:

Both use similar materials and printing technology, but they behave differently, are delivered differently, and serve different roles.

Labels can be round, oval, square, rectangle, or contour cut. Sizes range from 1 to 11 inches in width, with six standardised roll sizes.

There was no proof of the sticker before printing the whole batch and the logo looked all muddled together. I also asked, with the stock I had chosen, if writing on it would smear. It was not addressed. And for the record it does smear. So the product was usable but my logo looked terrible. Yes it was a small label but that is why a proof should be sent and/or a sample of the actual label before the whole batch is printed. And after writing on it I had to cover the writing with scotch tape to prevent smearing. So, meh.
