Why was my card charged more than once?

If you tried to order several times before the payment went through, each attempt can show as a pending transaction. Only one is charged, and the others are cancelled and drop off your statement.

Multiple charges on your card

Seeing more than one charge usually means there were several order attempts before your payment was approved.

Why it happens

  • Several order attempts: Each attempt can appear as a pending transaction on your bank statement.

  • Your bank's authorization: Banks often hold the amount temporarily to check that the funds are available. This is a normal step to prevent fraud.

What happens next

Pending transactions are temporary. Once your bank has processed the payment, only one transaction is completed and the others drop off your statement. You're not charged more than once.
