Can heavy duty stickers be used on curved or rounded surfaces?

Yes. Heavy Duty Stickers are built for demanding surfaces, including curved ones, with a hi-tack adhesive. On strongly curved surfaces, test one sticker first, as the edges can lift over time.

Applying on curved or rounded surfaces

Heavy Duty Stickers are made for tough conditions where standard stickers may fail, such as rough or curved surfaces, industrial equipment and long-term outdoor use. They combine a PVC material, a hi-tack adhesive with a strong initial grab and a 0.3 mm protective laminate.

How well it sticks depends on

  • How strong the curve is: gentle curves work well. On very tight curves, the thick laminate makes the sticker stiffer and the edges may lift over time.

  • Surface texture

  • Conditions where it's used: temperature, moisture and wear

Tips for the best hold

  • Test first: apply one sticker before the full run, especially on pipes, cylinders, helmets or uneven surfaces

  • Clean the surface: it should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other dirt

  • Use gentle heat: warm the sticker with a hairdryer while you press it firmly onto the surface so it follows the shape better

Very curved or textured surfaces

If your surface is very curved or textured, contact support by email and tell us about it. We'll recommend an option that fits. See also Can stickers be applied to cylinders or very rounded objects? and What types of surfaces are the stickers best suited for?
