How do I set up my file for kiss-cut stickers?
Save your file with two cutline layers: one for the inner kiss-cut and one for the die-cut that goes through. Lock the die-cut layer. No layers? Upload your design and tell us in a comment which part should be kiss-cut.
File setup for kiss-cut stickers
A kiss-cut sticker has two cuts: a kiss-cut through the sticker only, and a die-cut through all layers that shapes the backing around it. Your file tells us where each cut goes.
With a design program that uses layers

Create two cutline layers in your file.

Put the inner kiss-cut on one layer. This is the line around the sticker you peel off.

Put the outer die-cut on the other layer. This cut goes all the way through and shapes the backing.

Lock the layer with the die-cut.

Save and upload the file.
Without layers
