Temporary Tattoo
All the ink, no pressure
Temporary Tattoos last 2 to 5 days, depending on placement, skin type and how much water and friction they're exposed to.
A temporary tattoo usually lasts 2 to 5 days. Where you put it and how you treat it makes the biggest difference.
Placement
Areas that aren't rubbed or washed often hold up better.
Lasts longer: arms, shoulders and legs
Fades faster: hands, face and joints, since they move more and get washed more often
Skin type
Oily skin, or skin with a lot of hair, can make the tattoo stick less well or wear down faster. Contact with clothing also affects how long it lasts.
Make it last
Apply it to clean, dry skin and let it set properly.
Avoid heavy rubbing.
Keep oil-based products away from the area. Oil is what removes the tattoo.
