DTF transfers are highly durable, resisting cracking, peeling, and fading even after multiple washes, when applied and cared for properly.
Durability is one of the standout features of DTF transfers. When applied correctly, they are designed to endure the test of time. Unlike some traditional methods, DTF prints bond strongly with the fabric, making them resistant to wear and tear, cracking, or peeling. They also hold up well to repeated washing, maintaining their vibrancy and flexibility.
This durability is particularly beneficial for apparel that undergoes frequent use, such as sportswear, branded uniforms, or promotional items.
Proper care enhances longevity: washing the garment inside out at normal or possibly cooler temperatures (up to 60°C / 140°F) and avoiding direct ironing on the transfer will keep it looking fresh for years.
DTF transfers are also stretchable, allowing them to move with the fabric without splitting, making them ideal for fitted clothing like leggings or activewear.
