TL;DR:

What are wall stickers?
Removable decals made for indoor walls. Think of them as the middle ground between stickers and wallpaper.

Are wall stickers removable?
Yes! They use a low-tack adhesive designed to remove cleanly from walls in normal condition.

Where do wall stickers work best?
Apartments, offices, studios, shops, pop-ups, creative spaces, and all those empty walls that need something extra.

Can businesses use wall stickers?
Absolutely. They’re great for branding, typography, illustrations, campaigns, and custom graphics.

Can wall stickers replace wallpaper?
Not really. They work best as design elements rather than full wall coverage.

First, what is a wall sticker?

Think of wall stickers as the commitment-free middle ground between stickers and wallpaper. Easy to apply, easy to remove, and made to completely change the feeling of a room without paint or nails.

Here's what's good to know:

  • soft white polyester fabric for indoor use

  • removable low-tack adhesive

  • full CMYK color print

  • works best on smooth, clean surfaces

One small heads-up though: delicate paint, textured walls, or sensitive wallpaper can react differently, so testing a small hidden area first is always a good idea.

How brands are using wall stickers in creative spaces

One of the biggest reasons people love wall stickers? They let you completely change a space without making permanent changes. That makes them especially popular for pop-ups, offices, shops, events, and creative spaces where things tend to evolve quickly. Instead of repainting walls or installing heavy decor, wall stickers make it easy to refresh the atmosphere whenever needed.

And because they’re custom, they can do a lot more than just “decorate.” Some use them for branding, typography, illustrations, wayfinding, seasonal campaigns, or large-scale graphics that help a space feel more intentional and recognizable.

The easiest room makeover you’ll ever do

One of the nicest things about wall stickers is how flexible they are.

And application? Easy.

  • Start by measuring where you want the design to sit on the wall. Once you’re happy with the placement, peel away a small part of the backing paper and attach the top section to the surface.

  • Then, slowly work your way downward while smoothing the design against the wall using gentle downward motions. At the same time, continue peeling away the backing paper little by little. This helps avoid air bubbles and gives the decal a cleaner, more even finish.

  • Once the entire backing is removed, give it one final smooth-over and voilà, your wall has a whole new vibe.

A little design advice before you cover your entire wall

Technically, you can create very large wall stickers. However, we usually don’t recommend turning the entire wall into one giant sticker. Our wall material is intentionally thin and slightly see-through so it blends more naturally into the wall itself. That softer look is part of the charm, but it also means the material works best as a design element rather than a full wall replacement.

Instead of covering the entire wall like traditional wallpaper, wall stickers usually look strongest when they interact with the space around them. Think oversized shapes, typography, illustrations, or graphic elements that leave parts of the wall visible.

That said, if you want to sticker-bomb an entire wall with multiple designs instead? Go for it.

Make the space feel more like yours

So, wall stickers. Hopefully you now have a slightly clearer picture of what they are, how they work, and maybe even a few ideas for your own space as well.

Maybe it’s a large graphic in your office, a small detail in your studio, or something that finally makes that one empty wall at home feel a bit less forgotten. And because they’re removable, there’s a lot more freedom to experiment a little. Try something oversized. Keep it subtle. Rearrange things later if the space changes. No major commitment required.

So if you’ve been staring at an empty wall for a while now… maybe this is your sign to finally do something with it!
