How is the brushed aluminium effect achieved on stickers?

The brushed aluminium material is reflective with characteristic lines on top of it, giving it the "brushed" metal effect. It is a great choice if you want to give your stickers a metallic look. We can print brushed aluminium effect on top of any CMYK colour, just keep in mind that it becomes less visible on darker colours. We can print the effect on top of the entire sticker or only the selected parts. Leave us a comment letting us know how you want your stickers to look and we will help you out!

What types of adhesives are used with brushed aluminium stickers?

Brushed aluminium stickers are printed with a permanent adhesive.

Can brushed aluminium stickers be used for outdoor applications?

Yes, our brushed aluminium material is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Brushed aluminium material is water- and weather-proof and if you combine it with the glossy laminate, it is also resistant to UV radiation, giving it an outdoor life of about 2-4 years.

Are brushed aluminium stickers waterproof and resistant to fading?

Our brushed aluminium stickers are water-, weather- and, with a glossy laminate, also UV-proof. They are resistant to light scratches and will work perfectly on a majority of smooth, dry and clean surfaces. Glossy brushed aluminium stickers stickers should survive up to 2-4 years outdoors before they begin to fade and it's even longer indoors, depending on the conditions that the stickers are exposed to.

Can brushed aluminium stickers be cut into custom shapes and sizes?

Yes, our brushed aluminium stickers can be cut into almost any custom shape with rounded edges. The maximum size for brushed aluminium stickers is 27 cm (47") (27cm) on one side, so there is a wide variety of shape and size possibilities.
