Can each sticker in a VDP order have a different design?

No, Variable Data Printing uses one base design. Only the variable data, such as QR codes, barcodes, names or serial numbers, changes from sticker to sticker.

One design, different data

With Variable Data Printing, the design, colours and layout stay the same on every sticker. Only selected elements change, for example:

  • Barcodes

  • Serial numbers

  • Names and other short text

Several variable elements

You can include several variable elements on the same sticker at no extra cost. Their content can change, but each element must stay in the same position throughout the print run.

Different base designs

If you want several base designs, each one needs its own production setup and comes with an additional setup fee. The more base designs you add, the higher the total cost.
