How do I get a true, rich black on my stickers?

Use the CMYK mix 60, 40, 20, 100 for black areas in your design. You can also ask for "Double black" in a comment when you order.

Getting a true black

Black made from only black ink (K 100) can look flat or greyish in print. For a deep, rich black, set black areas in your design to this CMYK mix:

C 60, M 40, Y 20, K 100

How to set it up

  • Design in CMYK and use a file format that supports CMYK. See how to prepare files for CMYK printing and which file types we accept.

  • Apply the mix to all areas that should be true black.

  • Upload your design in the editor.

  • In the comment box, ask for "Double black" or add any other instructions. See how to leave a comment.

The rest of your order

In the editor you also choose the cut (contour cut or a shape like round or square), size, quantity and material. You can add text, special effects (as a separate layer or with instructions in a comment) and a matte or glossy laminate, which adds scratch resistance and UV protection. You can change size, quantity, cut or material on the design page without starting over. Check your design, add it to the basket and go to checkout.
