Do metallic labels work for all colours?
Yes, you can print any colour on metallic labels. The metallic shine shows through the ink, so add white ink under the areas you want to look solid and non-shiny.
Full colour print on metallic labels
Metallic labels are printed in full colour, but the silver metallic base shows through the ink. That gives colours a metallic shine.
Solid colours or metallic shine

Without white ink: Colours get a metallic shimmer.

With white ink underneath: The metallic background is blocked, and colours look solid and true. This is called a white layer.
You can combine both on the same label, for example a shiny metallic logo next to solid-coloured text. Plan your design with contrast in mind.
