Sticker Sheets
Multiple designs on one sheet.
This article explains how multiple kiss-cut stickers can be placed on one sticker sheet. It covers the technical requirements for spacing, cutline setup, sizes, and limitations related to shape complexity and production tolerances.
Sticker sheets are essentially multiple kiss-cut stickers collected on a single sheet. Each sticker requires its own cutline, bleed, and safety space. The rules for spacing and cutline setup ensure accurate cutting and prevent overlapping or unintended cuts.
Multiple kiss cuts refer to having several individual stickers on the same sheet, each with its own peelable shape.
Key characteristics:
Each sticker includes a separate cutline
All stickers are printed on one shared backing liner
All stickers share the same material, finish, and adhesive
Stickers can vary in size and shape
Each sticker must have its own clearly defined cutline.
Stroke width: 1 pt
Line style: Solid
Path: Fully closed vector shape
Color: A single, clearly identifiable spot color, preferrably 100% Magenta (0-100-0-0)
Centered between artwork and bleed
Must not overlap or intersect with other cutlines
Must be fully contained within the sheet boundaries
Correct spacing prevents cutting interference and maintains the sheet's integrity.
Between stickers: 0.075"/2 mm
From stickers to sheet edge: 0.075"/2 mm
An added 2 mm safety margin between individual designs is recommended. This spacing is required regardless of sticker shape or material.
Every individual sticker is cut with a 2 mm bleed. By default, this means your sticker will have a small border once peeled. If you want stickers without borders, extend the design 2 mm beyond the cutline.
0.075"/2 mm of bleed on all sides
Bleed should not include critical content.
Every sticker placed on a sheet must meet the minimum cutting size requirement:
0,24”/6 mm minimum
Note: Small stickers may peel inconsistently or fail to cut cleanly due to the complexity of the laser cutting.
Complex or intricate sticker shapes may require additional consideration.
Very sharp corners (<30°) may not cut precisely
Extremely thin shapes may be fragile or cause liner stress
Narrow internal cavities may not cut cleanly
Highly detailed designs should maintain adequate spacing from their own edges
Sheets with a large number of stickers should follow spacing rules carefully.
Dense layouts increase the risk of misalignment
Excessive complexity can strain cut accuracy
Stickers placed too close together may peel incorrectly
Maintain a clean, consistent grid or structured arrangement to reduce cutting stress.
Before uploading a sheet with multiple kiss-cut stickers:
Ensure each sticker has its own cutline
Verify spacing and bleed rules
Remove overlapping paths
Confirm all cutlines are closed
Flatten or outline graphic effects if necessary
Sticker sheets support multiple kiss-cut stickers, provided each sticker follows the required technical specifications: 0.075"/2 mm spacing, 0.075"/2 mm bleed, 1 pt closed cutlines, and a minimum size of 0,24”/6 mm. Shape complexity, material choice, and sticker density all influence cutting precision. Following these guidelines ensures clean, accurate results across all stickers on the sheet.
