Floor
Slip resistant stickers you can step on.
Clean and dry the floor, peel back a small part of the backing, position the sticker and press it down from the centre outward while you peel off the rest. A squeegee helps remove air bubbles. See Floor Stickers.
Follow these steps for a smooth, bubble-free result with your floor stickers.
Prepare the surface. Make sure the floor is clean, dry and free of dust and grease, so the adhesive can bond
Peel back the backing. Start by peeling back a small section of the backing paper on one side of the sticker
Position the sticker. Place it where you want it and check that it's straight before you press it down
Press it down. Press the exposed adhesive from the centre and outward. Smooth it with a squeegee or a soft cloth to remove air bubbles
Keep peeling and pressing. Gradually peel away the rest of the backing while you press the sticker down, smoothing from the centre to the edges
Large stickers
Work in smaller sections to keep control and get the placement right.
Good to know
Floor stickers stick best to smooth, flat floors such as tile, sealed concrete, laminate and vinyl flooring. Textured surfaces may not bond well, see Can you put floor stickers over tile? Look up terms like squeegee in the Dictionary, and read more in Floor stickers: built for every step.
